Go room by room
Start at the front door and walk the house. Kitchen, hall, bedrooms, garage. Jobs written in the order you would walk them are easy to plan around, and nothing gets skipped.

Write down sizes and what you already have
Note the TV size and wall type, the length of a shelf, or whether the faucet is already bought. A line like "65 inch TV, drywall, mounting bracket in the box" saves a round of questions.

Text a photo
A picture of the sticking door, the ceiling fan box or the wall you want filled beats a paragraph. Photos can be texted to (615) 476-0089.
